Brett Johnson

Brett began a Bachelor of Human Movement at UWA in Perth in 1998. The following year he was drafted to the Hawthorn Football Club and was relocated to Melbourne. He continued to study part time whilst playing AFL football. In 2002 Brett transferred to study a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at La Trobe University. He traded to Carlton Football Club in 2004 and was delisted at the end of the 2005 season after playing 70 AFL games.

Brett took up his studies full time in 2006 and graduated in 2008. He joined the Total Physiocare team at the beginning of 2009. Brett has known Barry Gavin since 1999 when he arrived at the Hawthorn as Barry was the team Physio. Brett continues to play VFL football for Williamstown, where he is the captain.
