Pilates is a series of graduated exercises coupled with breathing techniques, designed to develop the strength and stability of the core stability muscles of the body. It has been very successful in the treatments of multiple conditions, however is extensively used as a general fitness tool for individuals who do not have any specific injuries. The benefits of Pilates include improved posture, increased muscle strength and injury prevention.
Our clinic has an extensive range of specific Pilates equipment which enables our experienced staff to design a thorough Pilates and core strengthening program. Programs are individually designed to cater for the specific clinical requirements of each client, and the sessions include a Pilates trained physiotherapist instructing an individual client.
